Tombstone Cards’software development division, Tombstone Technologies, today announced that a beta version of its proprietary online image editing software, OIEPrint 2.0, is available online at http://www.tombstonetechnologies.com.

“OIEPrint brings a much needed advance in Web-to-print capability for the domestic digital printing industry, a market that accounts for about $84 billion annually but has not yet evolved to take full advantage of the Internet and broadband penetration,” said William Reilly, Tombstone COO and lead software designer. “OIEPrint 2.0 will change the way the printing industry interacts with customers by providing the customization tools and Web-based applications they are demanding.”

The beta version of the software is being tested in-house and will soon be available for external beta customers at no cost. OIEPrint 2.0 is a Web-to-print template driven application that allows individuals to create high-resolution, print ready images, giving the power of professional design to the average user through some of the easiest-to-use customization software in the industry.

The software is designed for print shops and product customizers, whose clients can start the design process, select from a variety of customizable templates, upload photos, logos and graphics from their desktop files and then add Rich Text or even Text-Along-a-Path. The final output not only provides print-ready graphics at 300 dpi (dots per inch) but saves the design work in separate layers in the SQL database for future editing.
